Pumpkin Seeds

Baking instructions

Pumpkin seeds can be ready to eat in less than an hour. To prepare, rinse the seeds and place them on a cookie sheet. Salt the seeds and bake them in a oven heated to 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

bullet2 cups pumpkin seeds
bullet2 tablespoons salt
bullet2 tablespoons melted butter
bulletvegetable oil

Separate pumpkin seeds from the pulp but don't wash the seeds.  Mix seeds, butter, salt, and stir.  Grease baking tray with oil and pour on buttered seeds. Gently shake the pan to even out the seeds.  Bake seeds at 200 degrees F. for 45 minutes.

Wash the seeds well. Spread them in a single layer on cookie sheet to dry. Then, roast them at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 30 minutes or until they are dry. Dot with butter and brown for 5 to 10 minutes 400 degrees. Stir often until toasted. Sprinkle with salt, cool and serve

First rinse the seeds to remove the pulp. Next spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake them in a 300 degree oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until golden. Stir them every 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and season to taste. Salt works best. After they cool, they make delicious snacks.
